Who doesn’t love a Mai Tai? A throwback to the late ’50s and
early ’60s’ love of Polynesian-themed tiki kitsch, this is the
drink to deck out with tiny umbrellas.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz. aged rum

  • ¾ oz. orange curaçao

  • ¾ oz. freshly squeezed lime juice

  • ¼ oz. almond syrup

  • Dash of Angostura bitters

  • 1 sprig of fresh mint, for garnish

  • 1 lime wheel, for garnish

Directions

  • Pour the rum, orange curaçao, lime juice, almond syrup, andbitters into a cocktail shaker with ice.
  • Shake well for 15 to 20 seconds, and strain into a rocks glasswith ice.
  • Garnish with a mint sprig and a lime wheel.
