Who doesn’t love a Mai Tai? A throwback to the late ’50s and
early ’60s’ love of Polynesian-themed tiki kitsch, this is the
drink to deck out with tiny umbrellas.
Ingredients
2 oz. aged rum
¾ oz. orange curaçao
¾ oz. freshly squeezed lime juice
¼ oz. almond syrup
Dash of Angostura bitters
1 sprig of fresh mint, for garnish
1 lime wheel, for garnish
Directions
- Pour the rum, orange curaçao, lime juice, almond syrup, andbitters into a cocktail shaker with ice.
- Shake well for 15 to 20 seconds, and strain into a rocks glasswith ice.
- Garnish with a mint sprig and a lime wheel.
