This is one of our most popular cocktails; a refreshing nod to anera when drinking on the porch in the summer was consideredthe height of relaxation.
Ingredients
1 whole fresh strawberry
2 oz. lemon vodka
1 oz. freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 oz. Simple Syrup (for recipe)
Splash of tonic
1 lemon wedge, for garnish
Directions
- Muddle the strawberry inside a Collins glass (for technique).
- Add the lemon vodka, lemon juice, and Simple Syrup withice.
- Cover with a Boston shaker and shake well for 15 to 20 seconds.
- Remove the shaker. Add a splash of tonic, garnish with alemon wedge, and serve with a straw.
