The Mimosa is the iconic brunch cocktail. In our version, we
use fresh blood orange puree to give it a touch of tartness. The
addition of Campari also keeps it from getting too cloying,
adding a layer of bitterness without overpowering the drink

Ingredients

  • 2 oz. blood orange puree

  • Splash of Campari

  • Splash of Simple Syrup (for recipe)

  • 4 oz. chilled champagne (or sparkling wine)

  • 1 blood orange half-wheel, for garnish

Directions

  • Pour the blood orange puree, Campari, Simple Syrup, andthe champagne into a mixing glass.
  • Stir gently with a bar spoon and pour unstrained into achilled champagne flute.
  • Garnish with a blood orange half-wheel.
